Today we officially got the word that we are leaving tomorrow morning. Very early tomorrow morning. That will be good though, it will give us plenty of time to get things set up.
This sitting around has been more draining than actually working. Yes, the few days we were there were long and tiring, but at least there was something to do. Here not so much. There are a lot of people taking a lot of naps. It’s also cold in here.
It doesn’t sound as if St. Thomas was hit near as bad as St. Croix or Puerto Rico. So our equipment should be fine. The only issue will be how high the water got, because that field was already rather soggy.
It will be nice to get back to the mission and actually feel like we’re doing something.
